Lights, Camera, Action! Hollywood Prom 2013

This past weekend I had the pleasure to help execute White Cloud Prom 2013. As the assistant Junior Class advisor I spent the majority of second semester helping plan decorations, fundraising events, organize team members and be the go to girl in a prom emergency. But this weekend, it all came together with only a few glitches.

I learned that Prom hasn't changed much since I went to my own Senior Prom in 2008. Thankfully I have! I believe that I am less awkward and more confident! Some things are the same tho... I absolutely love the cha cha slide!

On a different note, I couldn't help but see the similarities between Prom and some wedding receptions I've been too.

HS Prom = Wedding Reception
1. Have to bring a date
2. Limited food choices
3. Lots of people you don't usually hang out with
4. Dancing in large clumps (hot and sweaty)
5. Enthusiastic line dancing
6. Some dresses that are too short
7. Lots of laughter
8. Lots of photos
